The Wickenburg Parks and Recreation Vision Plan creates a vision for the long-term development, programming, and sustainability of Wickenburg’s parks, recreation facilities, and trail system.

The plan, led by Dig Studio, considers existing park amenities, the strong synergies between the parks and natural open space, recreational goals, and the expanding needs of the local population. Through community feedback, planning goals were prioritized for community health, equity, connection, and long-term economic sustainability were key priorities.

The Vision Plan includes strategies for maintaining and improving current resources, while gradually increasing capacity to extend opportunities and accessibility for the whole community. Through the integration of current and upcoming system offerings, the plan aims to enhance the parks and recreation system’s significance in Wickenburg residents’ everyday lives in the years to come.
