It's humanature ™.
Dig Studio investigates and executes, at high design fidelity, vibrant environments that make people and our planet happy.
For people. For ecosystems.
For today and for tomorrow.
For us, the human domain is part of the natural domain. It is one integrated whole. Our work leverages the power of the human experience in nature to build stronger connections between people, landscape and the urban environment.
We call it humanature™.
We design for the greater good. Not just for now or for one group. We deliver resilient, compelling and inclusive solutions that continue to add value over time. We seek opportunities to give back to the environment and our communities in ways that lead to lasting change beyond the explicit demands of the project.
Our History
Dig Studio was founded in 2012 with the goal of working more closely with our clients and projects, while maintaining a comprehensive and global perspective. With many of our principals having previously collaborated at one of the world's largest design firms, we bring a wealth of international experience. We united to lead impactful projects, rooted in the desire to forge our own path and create meaningful, lasting designs.
We unify our design processes to deliver authentic expressions of place. Each landscape, circulation flow, program, and built form works in harmony to tell a cohesive story.
Our Commitment
As Landscape Architects and Planners, we are uniquely positioned to address the injustices in built environments, acknowledge historic shortfalls within our profession, and to advance a framework for equity. Dig Studio commits to persistently listen, learn, and advocate within our firm and profession, encourage diversity in our hiring practices, and create an inclusive environment that promotes meaningful change.
Dig Studio is committed to sustainability in all forms. Concern for the environment, our communities, and promoting a broader sustainability agenda are integral to Dig Studio’s professional activities and the management of the organization.
For Community
We are committed to supporting our communities through volunteer service and pro bono work. We're committed to design that serves people. We fully deliver select projects for underrepresented communities and places that need healing.
Dig Studio takes on a limited number of pro bono projects annually. To discuss your project, reach out.
