Celebrating Three CO/WY ASLA Awards
Three Dig Studio Projects Recognized at the 2026 ASLA Colorado/Wyoming Awards
From a downtown streetscape to a neighborhood park and a district-wide placemaking plan, this year's honorees highlight different ways to bring people and nature together in the city.
Dig Studio joined clients, partners, and colleagues at the 2026 ASLA Colorado/Wyoming Awards celebration, where three of our projects received recognition:
16th Street Renovation and Activation
Honor Award | Urban Design
Cloud 9 Park
Merit Award | Small Budget, Big Impact in our Region
Ballpark District Strategic Placemaking Plan
Merit Award | Analysis and Planning
Each project responds to a different opportunity in Denver. Along 16th Street, more shade and gathering spaces help create a comfortable, welcoming downtown experience. Cloud 9 Park turns a future development site into a place for neighbors to gather and enjoy time outdoors. In the Ballpark District, the placemaking plan looks beyond game day to support the everyday life of the neighborhood.
Together, these projects reflect Humanature™, our belief that people and nature are one interconnected whole. They also speak to the value of listening to different perspectives and working together to create places that serve their communities.
We’re grateful to our clients, collaborators, and the community members who helped shape this work. It was a pleasure to celebrate these projects and the people behind them, and to see the range of thoughtful work happening across our region.
