Designing Parks That Bring Generations Together-

On a Saturday morning at Gilbert Regional Park in Arizona, a grandmother watches her grandson splash at The Falls splash pad while a group of teens skate nearby. A father jogs along a loop trail while his daughter climbs an interactive play structure designed for all ages. At the amphitheater, a yoga class is wrapping up, and a group of coworkers decide to head over to the community market for the afternoon. This scene is no accident—it’s the result of intentional design that prioritizes connection across generations.”
